    Seen some comments on YouTube from “Arsenal fans” saying they want Spurs to stay up because it “wouldn’t be as fun without them”.

    Fuck that, I would absolutely relish seeing them get relegated.

      I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: personally, my ideal scenario is that Spurs get 18th, suffer all the indignities of being a team that will get relegated, and then Man City go down in their stead for 115 reasons and they get the ultimate humiliation AND still have to struggle in the PL next year without a chance to rebuild properly AND city get fucked

      People online (not in here, mind you) saying the punishment is too harsh.

      Umm no. a) they admitted to the infraction, b) they actually admitted to two other similar infractions done earlier in the season, c) the rules on spying were explicitly clarified a few years ago after Leeds got away with similar.

      Southampton knew EXACTLY what they were doing! And they didn’t even do it well or discreetly! They acted like they were above the law, and they got punished accordingly.

      They need to set an example for cheating clubs. Next up they should hardly harshly punish Man C115y.

        That fact that they doubled down to try and rationalize it really takes the cake. They brought up that Leeds only got a monetary fine but Leeds was exactly why they added this rule in the first place to curtail it from happening again. Really FAFO and now they can be the example.

        The fact that Oxford and Ipswich were the ones they admitted to probably implies they spied on everyone as well, cuz like why would they spy on Oxford of all clubs, and also those are both clubs without legal recourse on damages against soton

    I’ve decided to keep the UWCL there as the banner for now btw, just so that I don’t have to hastily swap it again in a week depending on what happens
