When it comes to two dicks I always have to wonder if they’re both specialized for different things and that’s why there’s two. Like it seems a little silly that they’re both for pissing out of, when one could be the piss dick and the other could be the sex dick or who knows. Because things like that don’t evolve for nothing, there must be something about two of them that helps them survive where their single-donged-brethren did not.
Klingons had an abundance of redundant organs, a concept they referred to as brak’lul: a redundancy that evolved because it allowed the Klingon warriors to survive otherwise crippling damage.
I don’t know why I don’t always assume that there’s lore for it already, as a more casual Trek fan.
