Yes cause everyone knows the first thing you do when you find a significantly technologically disadvantaged society is to integrate and live among them for untold years.
Tbf here, if aliens could travel to earth then they would already have a resource abundance to want anything from earth. If we have contact with Aliens then the Zoo theory is the only plausible theory.
But what if they just wanted to come smoke weed?
