Are you running this in a container of some sort?
I do my entire work on WSL.
Then you’re missing a bunch of dependencies.
Like ???
kolourpaint expects The KDE desktop environment which isn’t there in WSL. I would recommend either finding a guide focused on getting KDE or Flatpak working in WSL or simply installing a Hyper-V linux guest.
Or replacing Windows completely.
Ditch Windows if possible. WSL’s the problem.
I see. But no, that’s not an option for me.
