When the Flamingo was first introduced, some people were skeptical that it had the range it claimed. Their “evidence” was that it had a longer range than the tomahawk cruse missile and how could Ukraine beat US tech? Till someone pointed out that the Flamingo was about 4 times the size and “Big gas go far”.
The Spitfire was more effective than the Hurricane plane for plane, there were just a lot more Hurricanes produced.
