A driver in a Tesla vehicle that was allegedly in self-driving mode crashed into a Texas house Friday night, killing a woman who was inside the home, investigators said.

Simply pressing the brake disables cruise control, autopilot, full self driving, etc.
So even if we assume that autopilot was driving insanely down a residential street… The driver seemingly didn’t even attempt to stop the vehicle. Also corroborating that, there seems to be no evidence of tire marks indicating braking either.
