500 years of blackadders, ended in no mans land
The end of that season is kinda chilling. The show is so funny and silly and then it ends in such a serious way. Just like the end of Upstart Crow.
The reason for it is supposedly budget/practicality - there wasn’t really enough space on the set for them to charge for more than a few seconds, so slowing it down was a workaround
There was a video I watched in YouTube about how British humour tends to be more cynical compared to American humour.
What show is that?
This is the final episode of Blackadder Goes Forth - the fourth* and final season
*canonically, there were some non-cannon specials made after.
