In Kemerovo, “SVO” [Special Military Operation] participants are inspecting semi-trucks for the presence of Ukrainian UAVs
Starting July 8, the authorities have banned transit travel through Kemerovo for semi-trucks—only heavy vehicles with waybills from Kemerovo enterprises will be accepted, announced the Governor of Kuzbass, Ilya Seredyuk.
“Until now, a significant portion of transit trucks passed through the city. Even though a bypass route—the North-Western Bypass—was opened for them two years ago. This created environmental and traffic problems, and now security risks have been added to them—including UAV attacks,” Seredyuk said.
Inspection posts have been deployed at six entrances, and drivers are banned from gathering in groups even near major factories. Semi-trucks entering the city are being inspected by traffic police officers, Rosgvardia, and members of the “Association of SVO Veterans of Kuzbass.”
