I have a hard time seeing how someone could end up fascist/nazi from playing Disco. Gay communists though? Yes.

Yeah, the two ethnonationalist characters are very unlikeable. I’d rather hang out with Cuno all day.

Tbh the fascist vision quest is very interesting and the conversation with Measurehead is fascinating, but I don’t think it’s anything that would turn anyone fascist hah.

Oh, the fascists absolutely hate it because it’s both accurate and strips their logic bare of pretense, but I wouldn’t be surprised if, because they did such a great job of accurately portraying it some conservative players realized they are in fact fascists and embraced the label.

The game is a mirror. It shows you who you’ve always been.

I have seen an astounding number of people out themselves as nazis and fascists after playing, when they get upset at how the game holds the mirror up at the end.

Really? I did not think that a lot of people who are Nazi aligned would play this game.

But great that they got the opportunity to rethink their stances.

It’s an amazing RPG, and I would think plenty started on it simply knowing that and nothing else. That is a good thing.

I dunno I like how that one dude sounds when he talks gets stuck in my head. I could see someone glomping onto that pretty hard.

measurehead is the first character you talk with who has a “coherent” ideology. If you have a huuuuuge anchoring bias where you just go with the first thing that makes sense (okay, maybe the word “sense” doesn’t fit here but you know, superficially at least) and stick with it no matter what, it could happen.
