If his respond to it isn’t mail-in voting allowed nationwide and ballots with mandatory paper trails, then I don’t believe him.
On top of that, if he’s super duper concerned, he should advocate proportional representation and ranked choice voting.
Obligatory: Ranked Choice Voting is a specific use of ranked ballots, and it kinda sucks. You want Ranked Pairs or another Condorcet method.
Or just let people check multiple names. That’s called Approval Voting, it basically gets Condorcet results, and there’s no good reason it’s not the default.
