are the downvotes because people think that boomers dont think this way, or because people dont agree and dont know how this all works.
I downvoted because:
- The cartoon is implying that it’s not guns, but video games that cause problems
- Making sweeping statements about boomers is as bad as making sweeping statements about black people or gay people. It’s an enormous group of diverse people, many of whom are progressive.
- There actually was a big pushing trying to say that video games were the cause of all the violence.

I mean, even if video games would make someone more violent, that person can’t do much damage if it doesn’t have access to guns.
They can’t even strangle you with the controller cord since controllers are wireless now.
