This is like making your new SO dress up as your abuser back when he was nice.

Like, this is not healthy behavior at this point.

its kinda pointless. I don’t care that it look the same. its nice for menu options to be familiar or to have familiar and useful behavior like windows snap but the crap colors and logo. nah.

It’s a good start but since you’re using a GTK desktop you should really check out the B00merang-Protect’s Windows 7 theme

I don’t know how to use dotfiles yet, but basically, I went to https://www.opendesktop.org/ I navigated to the Cinnamon themes section and found the “Cinnamon Delight” and “Exodus” themes. I also downloaded the Windows Vista icon pack since I couldn’t find a Windows 7 one. Sorry it took me so long to respond; I’ve been offline for a few days.

It’s the Cinnamon DE and some simple gtk and icon themes as far as I can see.

I don’t love Windows, but I do miss Windows 7.

yeah, it looked good for its time, and worked well, straight forward.

That’s why I like the Cinnamon desktop that comes with Mint. It has the “feel” of Windows 7.
