      Battle on 13 Vendémiaire

It’s basically the end of the French Revolution, and was a stepping stone for Napoleon’s political career

The battle was noteworthy for its use of grapeshot on the streets of Paris. If you’re not familiar, grapeshot is ammunition for cannons composed of several balls instead of one large cannonball - like a shotgun for artillery. It’s devastating to unarmoured infantry

Oh I am extremely familiar with grapeshot and canister shot and the carnage it produces. Just wanted to know the context behind meme.

Depends. How large is the mob? How far away? Are they clumped up or can they spread out?

How pissed are the three that reach the cannon when it proves the were spread a little too far out?
