
This is using the exact same idealist view on religion that was used during medieval times to not only justify Israels existence but to justify how they are of higher levels of existence than everyone else. It’s a non falsifiable paradox.
Following the logic of that headline, wouldn’t the people writing it also not be extremely bigoted in similar fashion to any other authoritarian regime telling their people they’re above everyone else?
No, you see when they do it it’s fine because they’re actually better than everyone else. Their imaginary friend said so, so it must be true.

When our parents say they want to be our friends, that’s nice. But we better also respect them as teachers. Totally equalizing them is demeaning them and arrogant of us. When Jews say they want to be everyone’s friends and allies, that’s nice. But Gentiles better also give them respect as their teachers.
The first time I read this kind of nonsense I thought it was a joke, then that it was an exception. Now I know, that I was being naive. Even now, I had to check it because i couldn’t believe that it was real.
