Cool cool cool… When I was in Houston, let me tell you, I loved all the extra commercials for energy providers. I loved never knowing I was getting a competitive rate. And I especially loved that any profits they saw between the rate they sold me and the rate they bought from the actual energy producer went into share holders hands instead of city services. That was so cool!

Idk which lobby group paid for this proposal, but how about we keep essential utility in local government hands. If Austin didn’t want it, Austin would vote it out. Small government, that’s the motto right?
