What is the Community Yard Sale?

People will be selling yard sale items from their cars in the parking lot.

In the UK, events like these are called car boot sales and the concept has finally crossed the pond! 🇬🇧

There will be a special sales area where the profits go to support Coffee Oasis, which runs a youth homeless shelter and drop-in center at 1424 Tacoma Ave S. They also run a cafe with at this location with a great selection of drinks, pastries, and freshly made breakfast and lunch items.

First Presbyterian collects a stall reservation donation from vendors that is then distributed to Coffee Oasis as well. Last year the total raised for Coffee Oasis was $4000
