    when your childhood is sold to the highest bidder and you grow up to understand that what you were given in return is worthless, you only try to recover what was stolen by taking it from someone who is willing to give it up.

    You can have whatever standards you’d like, just don’t complain when you have a very hard time finding someone.

    Yes.

    Adulthood used to be something you were proud of. Now it’s something people actively run from and they forever dream of being a child forever.

    It blows my mind how many people in relationships just want to be babies and have someone change their metaphorical diapers for them, and then basically blame the other person for not changing their diapers.
