dude, I mean I know that most of you here don’t like AI at all, but posts like this are so silly that they make people think we’re all 14 years old who are pissed off because ChatGPT refused to be our virtual girlfriend.
Stuff like this makes people think this is just a silly community full of ludditards that don’t like AI just because.
Most of the resources used for AI are wasted on useless shit. On top of that people stop using their brain full stop, ignoring the hallucinations that AI comes up with. If people want to shit on that stuff in a community, who stops them and why would they? Who gives two fucks how that might look to people who like to use it? It is not like any of us will keep companies from sinking another couple billions into the bottomless pit. A huge part of the money also goes into forcing it down our throats. Pretty much everywhere.
