The more I learn about medieval history the weirder it gets. They had an entire event during which Jews had to justify the Talmud to Christians, and every time they tried the Catholic church agreed to a new ban on jews doing something. Unti the jews decide they’re just not gonna try. They’re just gonna sit in silence until the priests leave them alone.
