Was she actually pro worker or did she just have a PR team?
She made a remake of 9 to 5 called 5 to 9 endorsing hustle-grind culture. I don’t know much else. But she ran several businesses in a capitalist western context.
That was cringe but 9 to 5 still slaps and nothing can take that away.
She also did a lot of work with literacy in Appalachia, embraced LGBTQ rights, generally a decent person for the capitalist world we live in.
