Newly obtained video shows the moments a Philadelphia police officer left a man lying in the roadway in Olney minutes before the man was struck by a vehicle and killed.
The video, obtained by Action News on Monday, shows an officer stopping to assist a 48-year-old man who had fallen on Rising Sun Avenue near the intersection with Olney Avenue. The officer parked his vehicle to block the intersection and appeared to speak with the man.
Authorities have not said what was discussed during the interaction. After about a minute, however, the officer is seen returning to his vehicle and leaving the man in the street.

Is this just an ad for Flock cameras? Why let the guy ramble about how great cameras are and how everybody should have them to solve crimes?
people just don’t understand how busy cops are on a shift.
its pretty obvious the officer received a reminder to go home and terrorize their family by waving their gun around and demonstrating chokeholds, which could not wait because they had a stash house to rip off later before their nap behind an abandoned Kmart.
remembering that time an officer fled his patrol car on the railroad tracks due to an oncoming train and left a suspect locked in the back seat

A well trained officer would not have spent valuable resources speaking to a citizen
