Note to everyone who may want to mention that it’s a copyright move or whatever: YES… I obviously know this. But it’s just horrible the way it all worked out. Go see this poster at your local post office, it just makes you sad.

          Owner: No, no…No, it’s stunned!

          Mr. Praline: STUNNED?!?

Owner: Yeah! You stunned it, just as it was wakin’ up! American Reds stun easily, major.

Mr. Praline: Um…now look…now look, mate, I’ve definitely 'ad enough of this. That country is definitely deceased, and when I purchased it not ‘alf an hour ago, you assured me that its total lack of movement was due to it bein’ tired and shagged out following a prolonged conflict.

Owner: Well, it’s…it’s, ah…probably pining for the oil fields.

Mr. Praline: PININ’ for the OIL FIELDS?!?!?!? What kind of talk is that?, look, why did it fall flat on his back the moment I got it home?

Owner: The American Red prefers kippin’ on it’s back! Remarkable country, id’nit, squire? Lovely landscape…

Exactly! In 1976… it wasn’t all: 1776 to 1976! It was just: 1776!! We all knew what year it was already.

I posted the comment below about it being for counterfeiting, but man if they have it up in the post offices as well, that is just depressing and ominous. Yikes.

I have a PO BOX so it’s nothing for me to poke my nose into a post office… but if you can… you gotta see it to believe it.

Of course, I’m pretty reactive to everything these days… I just have no idea how far we are away from: GAME OVER

Yah i generally don’t have a need to get in a post office, but I just might now out of curiosity. Thanks for posting.

There are these posters in the Post Offices… something about a section of the design looks like a gravestone for the U.S. it’s sad and alarming.

We have never had an administration before dead set on ending our country as we know it. So… yeah, I’m reactive about this.

You can also photoshop the thin line out, or ask an AI to remove it.

The whooping 160 thousand dollars in counterfeit stamps leading to a change in how the entire USPS marketing material reads like a plain joke.

I mean… 160 THOUSAND dollars in not-valid “currency”! Can the US economy ever recover from this?

Which will likely leave metadata which will tell the post office exactly where the original stamp was sold.

The cross isn’t needed anymore because each stamp has a unique ID printed on it.

If this is the genuine reason, that is such a weird way to do that. It’s not even hard to overlay a new text over a text that has a blank background. Ffs.

At first I thought that “delivering” at the top was “believing”, so I thought it said:
Believing the American story for 250 years.

I guess we all have… at least in 4th grade. It’s all been a pack of lies. Can you imagine if they told the real story?

And yet… I believe in Bernie.
