I haven’t fully tested it yet, but seems to work reasonably well. It is not fully featured yet - for example, spoilers don’t seem to render (although that might be due to my using pandoc instead of markdown.el for my markdown-command variable)
I wish there were a way for images to be hidden by default, and to cap their initial size; currently, they display at full resolution by default. The news mega takes several seconds to load, presumably because it loads every comment and image.
Otherwise, all the benefits of emacs are at play here: text-based navigation, easy keybinds like n and p for next/previous, respectively. o sets the sort order, 0 goes to your profile, f folds comments, and more.

Spoilers are an extension to markdown that isn’t in e.g. the commonmark specification. If you had a markdown-it (what lemmy uses) parser with all the plugins installed you could probably get it to work better.
