This week, the San Antonio River Authority (SARA) formally approved the transfer of ownership of approximately 243 acres of land in south Bexar County to Brooks Development Authority.

The transfer of ownership is considered significant in creating “Project Oso,” a joint initiative between Brooks, SARA and Bexar County to “prepare the property for future large-scale development and job creation,” according to a news release.
