Two people were arrested in San Fransico while riding around in a Waymo robotaxi after the cab pulled over and called the cops on them. The riders were juveniles in possession of a loaded AR-style ghost gun and were taken to a juvenile hall.

I guess if the Government/Ice wants you they can imprison you and your friends

    Waymo calls the cops on someone for carrying a gun, which is (generally) legal.

    No way Waymo could know if it’s a “ghost gun” - it assumed the person was illegally carrying a gun.

    Can’t wait for Waymo to do this to someone with a CC permit and the cameras caught a glimpse of a gun. Waymo will get their ass sued off for that.

      Not sure that’s true, just because it’s legal doesn’t mean Waymo allows it in their vehicles, seems plausible it’s part of the agreement.

      Too lazy to look tho
