The framing of the article is a bit odd. Fox was owned by Australians and as far as I know, Newscorp, the news side of Fox, still is.
It’s cuz the investors are the scary brown folks /s. Plus, I imagine the reporter on this story is also concerned about press freedoms in the those respective countries, how they plan on using their influence, etc. I know some folks have ditched EA because they don’t trust the new investors either.
