Preliminary support for the Steam Frame Wireless Adapter.

What does preliminary mean here?
Could mean anything, really. With such vague wording I assume they enabled basic WiFi functionality for the adapter to connect to wireless networks. Doesn’t even have to do anything with streaming to the frame.
That is pretty much dead on, I tried to use it (lucky enough to have both) and it basically just means the dongle has drivers now. However when you connect it the Steam Machine tries to use it to get Internet and then doesn’t have a connection anymore.

So glad they fixed steam machine randomly waking up, I have had to shut my down rather than suspend because it won’t actually stay off
