      The joke is the lady is clearly unhinged, but her wingman is translating her speech into something that sounds more noble

              When my toddler niece points at a dog and says ‘wawa’ I also understand what she means. That still doesn’t make it a good word to reference a dog.

                If you can’t figure out what an obvious lead like “sub-lemmy” means, then it sounds like you have bigger problems than interpreting nonsense words.

                The fact of the matter is that I’m tired of typing out the word “community”* as someone with compromised wrists & hands. If you had responded with something like “what the heck is that supposed to mean?” it would be one thing, but I’m pretty sure you know quite well what “sub” means in context and what “lemmy” means in context. That is my concern, not trying to please the word-policers amongst us, Mogg.

                * also, the word is a misnomer; these are not in any real sense “communities,” but more like “subscription models”
