I wanted an original Soviet quartz watch for a while, but was afraid of battery compatibility. This looks sick (and avoids problems from older watches lol)!
I don’t have a new watch, just a 10+ year old reissue of the original Vostok Komandirskie (no screw down crown) with some modern features - bit of a bigger case size, date window, see through case back. It’s been a fun watch, but has gotten a little dodgy with time keeping. It’s manual wind, so it’s not a huge deal to correct the time when it gets too far off.
It’s on a pretty sick newish NATO strap that I got on AliExpress. Feels smooth like a car seatbelt and is pretty comfy.
im planning on getting a dark red nato strap for this. the gold bracelet looks cool but pinches the fuck out of my arm hair
