It would be nice if there was something like Nextdoor for people who aren’t like the people on Nextdoor
So the thing is, the people on nextdoor are the only people who will frequently use something like nextdoor which is why it turned out the way it did.
You’re basically competing with Nextdoor, Ring, and Facebook groups. Adoption will be an issue.
Fedihood is probably the closest thing on the fediverse to this, although with far fewer features.

There are a lot of obvious but successful trolls as well.
And Boomer paranoid. “There’s been a tree trimming truck across from my house for the last two hours. There are guys trimming trees but they’re at least 30 feet from this truck. Be careful, I think there’s people scoping out houses.”
How do you be careful about that?

That’s a good question. In Boomer talk, it probably means calling ICE on the tree trimmers or some Latino looking kids walking home from school.
