He wasn’t offsides, it was a ripple in the space-time continuum that moved the hashmark to be right under his toes. I see you’ve managed to capture that here!

It’s really surprising how butthurt mahomes and the rest are. You fucked up and it was called properly. Don’t like it? Do better. Pretty easy.

Especially for a team that gets so many bs calls going their way.

Lost in that to me is the fact that they got three more tries to get a first down. It’s not like this flag (which was correct and deserved) ended the game, it just set them back five yards. They had time on the clock and multiple chances to get a first down let alone score, they fucked up all of it and then bitched about the call instead. Really bad look imo, and I honestly like/am completely indifferent to the Chiefs (Packers fan, no AFC team).

Toney was lined up offsides 4 or 5 times during the game and this was the only one that got called. Somehow I’m seeing Chiefs fans saying that shows the refs are biased against them.

Interesting that Andy Reid’s main complaint about this is that nobody was warned about it ahead of the play. He made it sound like these warnings are a regular part of the game. But isn’t it ultimately up to the player to line up properly?

I’m not a fan of either team, although I would have preferred the Chiefs in this game. This is blatantly offsides. How could they not call it? I get that Mahomes was fired up during the game and may not have had the benefit of replay, but he needs to go watch the film and then chill. It didn’t impact the play, but unless the ref is blind, this is getting called every time. This is basic stuff.

You’re talking about the play where the Bills are allegedly over. This is the Chiefs play.

Should I add context as a chiefs fan? Probably not.

He was offside. It is hard for those lined up way out to judge where the line is, so they usually ask the refs. He did not ask that time. The refs apparently often give them a warning even when they don’t ask, but they did not. Because of that, offensive offsides is really rare.

What is worse is the defense was offside on the next play and it was not called, which seems worse.

But no one play loses a game. We had multiple other chances to score. Our receivers just suck this year.

It probably doesn’t help that the wide receiver coach is new. He was both on a college team (I don’t believe ever played once) and got his coaching job thanks to who his dad is.

The play calling is also uninspiring with offensive coach Naggy back at the helm.

And Mahomes is playing tentative because he can’t trust his receivers to run routes or catch balls that hit their hands.

        We lost.

I’ve been looking for an imaging showing the defense being over the line before the ball was snapped. Every image people share shows after, which is odd. Not saying he wasn’t. But I’d like to see it before the snap.
