Hello, friend, my name is Michael-O-2. I’m super excited to meet you! I can’t wait to learn about all the new and exciting ways we get to serve Friend Computer together!
Now if you don’t mind looking away for a moment, I need to duck into this dark corridor, do some rhythmic tappy-taps with my knuckles on this maintenance panel, and then talk to myself about absolutely nothing in particular. I’ll be right with you, new best friend!
. . .
I’m back. No, I’m fine, my face always looks like this when I’m happy to serve Friend Computer! We should get going though. After you.
No, seriously, after you. I insist.
(God I miss Paranoia. Still have my old Paranoia XP books somewhere. I was a crappy GM, but someone had to do it.)
Have the ed 2 here from times past. Sadly, we never actually played Paranoia, probably we were only used to DSA, Shadowrun, MERS etc. and had too much respect about not being witty enough to play, let alone GM it. Lost contact to all but one of the pals from then but we had a blast of a time.
Dust it off and give it a try, next chance you get. I was honestly terrible but we still had a blast. Not even several different instances of “crap I forgot about this, can we just pretend that whole combat never happened?” could derail our fun.
Friend Computer is best comrade!
Unfortunate slip of the tongue, you commie traitor. Report to the nearest security station for termination and subsequent re-integration.

Perfect Edition landed recently and looks solid, moved back towards XP from the much board-gamier Red Clearance. Might be time to jump back in.
