I suspect her conversion was more about protest, a salt to the wound, if you will, rather than true, real “awakening”. But I can’t speak for her and am not in the position to recognize her mental state.

She was very complicated case.
I suspect her conversion was more about protest, a salt to the wound, if you will, rather than true, real “awakening”. But I can’t speak for her and am not in the position to recognize her mental state.
Still, sounds like she called out one cult while joining another.
