But Israel is not particularly interested in getting their hostages back, they don’t seem to be admitting how many they’ve directly killed in airstrikes, but journalists have noted a non-neglible amount of them. The goal is to kill palestinians, not rescue anyone.

I was going to say does that mean we kill 40k Israeli citizens everytime the IDF guns down one of the hostages waving a white flag.
