How is the voice on that? Natural enough?

It seems your biggest limitation here is iCloud. Apple gives a limited amount of storage space and charges a bunch of money for it. SSDs would be cheaper and last a long-ish time (not as cheap or as long as tape drive but tapes suck to deal with). Plus you’d lose the infinite backup convenience of being in the cloud.

I recommend making a YouTube channel and make all of the videos unlisted. You can upload an unlimited (technically sorta) amount of video there and it wouldn’t cost you forever. You could get the high quality and the cloud access that way and you could always keep higher quality local copies on SSDs and BRDs.

I think your focus should be on having the best audio quality (so a separate mic) and lighting/backdrop right now and just leave the storage stuff to YouTube.
