If only we could contact the Dev, the maker of perchance. I’ve made the attempt, even got the email to go through, but so far no response. VioneT says the Dev is busy, What do you think?

Very busy, as I’m not the only one who wants to talk to him. In fact, he’s so busy that most people’s messages don’t even get through.

Curiosity killed the cat, I wish I never put that image in the gallery. So the only way to get rid of the image is to get rid of the URL… And in doing so, delete the other image, the person who made it might want to keep… Can you put me in touch with the dev?

I’ve been trying to contact the admin, but no luck, all sources point to Lemmy.World, but unfortunately, I’ve hit a snag, the only way for me to delete the image from gallery, is to delete the URL entirely :( and in order to delete the URL, I’ll need to find the person who created it! Honestly Perchance needs to change.

I’m pretty sure I know the answer is no to all of it, but can the person who made the site get rid of images in gallery? Can I request deletion of that URL? Can you at least, get me in touch with the person who made Perchance? So that I may share some Ideas?

Yes, repeatedly, in fact I’m still posting. You would think deleting an image from gallery would be easy, but no, it’s part of the URL itself. So the only way to undo my mistake is to undo the whole URL. If I could change one thing about perchance it would be the option to remove. images from gallery or, you know, allow those who login to post to the gallery.

And we’re right back where we started. I do AI art, I don’t make generators. I’m not as smart as the people here. I just want the image in the gallery deleted. but it’s part of the URL, So I either find a way to get rid of that URL entirely, or I find someone who has a hand in Perchance’s making. Like I said, I think I got in contact with the admin. All I can do now is wait and hope, all this over an image, dam my OCD!

Any link to it, just resets everything! And my mistake image is still in the gallery problem, not solved! So, there’s no real way of deleting the image from the gallery, Is there? I sent a similar message to the admin, but I’m not sure if he’ll get back to me. At least tell me this, will you be looking into a way to delete or remove images from the gallery?

Well, I ate the sharpest tool in the crayon box, but I would half expect the person who made the site to be able to delete an image. You see, that’s why I posted the idea for the dev to be able to get rid of it, or add an option to get rid of it, or make it a login thing as proof of ownership or something.

Well, thank you anyway :) but until I hear it from the dev I ain’t giving up hope! I want to thank him or her for creating a truly free ai site, then subsequently ask him or her if there’s anything that could be done about accidentally adding images in gallery.

So it’s a no :( is it at least being looked into? I could at least contact the dev to see if he or she will look into it, just a little something to give me help. You could delete messages, you could even delete accounts, kind of… But one thing done out of curiosity is permanent! Sheesh, be careful what you do on Perchance.
