I was doing a job at a client’s new site and this is what their carpets looked like throughout most of the office.
I stopped dead in my tracks when I walked in.

I stopped dead in my tracks when I walked in.

I just had a look and the channel I originally saw the video on has a Canadian flag on it.
So most likely a north American thing, but might show up in other places.
Oh, had a look online and it says it is somewhat common in Europe, like Northern Italy but originates from Eastern Europe and Russia.
Been a while since I saw the videos, but they do it the same way as with other jams.
Boil the cones or fruit in some water and sugar.
The cones become soft (they are the young and unopened cones) and I’m guessing the flavour is similar to the smell of pine tree sap.
Pine cone jam is a thing.
Saw a few YT videos on it a while back, looks pretty good to me.
I grew up on Larson comics, a friend had a copy of a Far Side Gallery book.
I blame him for a lot of my sense of humour.
The picture frame on the wall…
It protects from the bow string, I’ve gotten caught by it before… it’s not fun.

Did the front fall off?

The way he would constantly advertise his website during his act still haunts me to this day… it randomly just creeps up on me.
My previous 2 flats were hotter inside versus outside during summer.
Everyone recommends keeping windows and curtains closed, but it made no difference for me.
I’d assume if my flat was hotter inside than outside, then having my windows open could not hurt. I could never figure out something that worked and my old London flat hit 37.5 Celsius once.
My new flat is on the ground floor at the back of the building in the shade all day and so much cooler. But I on,y have windows on kne side so getting a nice breeze going when I want might not work.
Hit a maximum of 25 in my flat this week thankfully, no fan or aircon.
