I tried some time ago ST Prodigy and found too silly, I heard some encouraging comments about it and Im giving it another try. 6 episodes in Im enjoying it more than the last attempt.

I enjoyed the season more than I anticipated.

I have a small problem with the fleet warping instantly at the end, warp speed 900 I guess, but still a good dramatic effect

I’ve played around 5h, not much, but as I recall it was exactly what you think if you want to design a space race game, you do something basic, get new technology and then try something more advanced. As you go progressing you can do more stuff and get farther away, but it was not fun. I only recall the feeling of “this are the type of mechanisms that sounds like fun but when you are doing it, it was not”.

as a boardgame you can have a look at Leaving Earth or to something more complex like High Frontier 4 All.

Computer I played MArs Horizon, but I wasn’t a big fun, mostly because at the end I discover that I enjoy the planning but i also enjoy the handling of the ship

A low point episode for me, the wedding could have been much better just adding a nemesis character to Daren that is hovering over her fiancee to grab the throne, some dark guy with evil intentions. As for the Genesis/Caleb plot I only enjoyed that he knew all the time she was playing him, I would have enjoyed much more if he will have resolved the issue, and don’t have to tell the Chanciller about it.

Not very interesting episode, the main problem is that Darem has changed because a lot of time has passed between episodes, and I don’t have a sense of that (there is a line when they said how long Tarima has gone for the recovery) , he has evolved from the character he was on the first episode, but we don’t realize it

I was thinking about the promotional picture for the show with all the people smiling. That was a scam to make us think that it was gonna be a cozy show, and they strike with characters death and betrayals left and right. They played us like a violin

I love ST, but I don’t love all ST, I try to watch everything and something I’m not enjoying I just stop watching it, for example TOS or Discovery from S2-3 (can’t recall), I don’t like I stop but I least I give a try, I don’t judge the series just watching trailers or reading posts about how awful is something until I have watched it (this goes for all the hate to Academy pre-airing)

If someone asks me, yes, I’m a ST fan, I love it, but I’m not a fanboy, I don’t like everything from ST, I like to say when I don’t like something (like Section 31 movie, is so bad I don’t even consider it ST).

And yes, you are a fan, you’ve watched some of the core of ST and ejoyed it, and you are looking forward to watch more :)
