It’s not particularly uncommon for people in regional Australia to own their own house with no mortgage by my age.
It’s pretty tough to find a family home that costs less than 10x average wage.
So, as a kind of line in the sand I’d say maybe a third of 45 year olds living in regional Australia could “survive” for 10 years with no income.

The candidates were not promising the same thing.
Trump is rolling out the policies he campaigned on. Tariffs, being mean to poor people, and owning the libs.
He did not promise ice cream.

It’s just a human interaction / small talk problem, which have existed since the dawn of time.
I personally have no idea what animal I would be and I doubt id really get involved in that conversation, beyond whatever it took to be polite and not unpleasant.
I wouldn’t have asked chatgpt because I hate chatgpt, but I can imagine why someone would do that as a polite non-answer.
