In my case, I was forced to leave Reddit because at one point, I was not able to post or reply in any of my joined subs! I didn’t know why I was band because there was no communication from any mods or the Reddit dictators. I deleted my account because there was no use of staying if I was banned. I asked my favorite AI if there is a Reddit substitute and it pointed my Lemmy. So I’m here!

Yes. The ONT will be outside the house. But, I need the Fiber-to-ethernet media converter there, too! Then a MoCA adapter so that I can use the coax cable from my former Direct TV service to bring the Internet inside the house, then, inside the house will be another MoCA adapter to convert the coax to ethernet to my router! This is my plan because there is no way I can bring fiber into the house. My network closet is in the opposite side of the house from where the ONT will installed.

Yes! I’m with you! When I create a new post on any sub, it gets removed/deleted by the Redit filters. I tried to delete my account and even that is being blocked!
Yeah! I was banned without any notice or reprimand! No communication. It’s just that when I create a new post, it is deleted/removed immediately by the “Reddit filters”! I tried to delete my account today because there is no use staying in Reddit when I cannot interact with users in the subs that I subscribe! When I submitted the Delete Account form, that is being blocked too!
Sorry, I mis-represented my case! From my light research, MoCA is a device that enables ethernet to go through a coaxial cable. There will be a MoCA on the outside to convert ethernet to coax and in the inside another MoCA to convert the coax to ethernet.
Yeah! All my switches and plugs are Z-Wave and, of course, local. My cameras are managed by HA, and, I even block them from going out to, and being accessed directly from, the Internet! HA is a time server for all my IoT and camera devices. I wish my KIA is local.
Oh? Maybe because I’m using a VPN with my server most of the time is in CUBA! But wait, even when I connect to New Jersey server, I still get those “Rate limit…”!
Yes! Reddit is garbage! The “Reddit filters” ban you without any reprimand or notification on why!
I have a KIA and the integration in HA is decent but it is through the KIA Connect server. Every so often, it asks to re-authenticate. This is the only integration in my HA that requires cloud account.
I just joined “thelemmy.club” today! I am trying out lemmy because at Reddit, for no reason given to me, I am shadow banned (if it is the proper term for it). Whenever I post a new topic, even on issues that may help other users in the future, my post is immediately removed/deleted by the “Reddit filters…”. And, I get “Rate limit exceeded…” when I reply to comments within a few minute after my successful reply. I don’t know! I hope I will find the communities here in thelemmy.club those subs that I joined in on Reddit - that would be nice.
This is one of my favorite dashboards. It has buttons to enable/disable automations, turn on/off smart switches that control devices in the garage. It has entities that shows status of my Hybrid vehicle. In the “All Info” tab, it has all the entities of my car’s integration showing all status and active buttons to activate some functions in my car.
