Facts don’t care about your feelings. You’ve presented zero evidence to the contrary, how are you this confident about your assertion? This is such a joke

Residents living near fracking sites are significantly more likely to get cancer English7·9 天前And still there’s politicians out there saying things like “I will not ban fracking. I did not as vice president. In fact, I cast the tie-breaking vote to open up more fracking leases”. Playing with people’s lives just to make a buck. Really shows they’re not beholden to the people but to the owning class.

Oh hey look a guy on the internet who doesn’t when someone contradicts his baseless claims with evidence. There’s something you don’t see every day.
I never really looked into this (relation between speed limits and accidents/safety), so I figured I’d verify your statement with a quick google search and it turns out you’ve got it all wrong. There is a deep well established link between speed limits and accident risk, see for example here:
Now you know! :)

I don’t know how you feel about holocaust deniers, but that’s what you are to me right now. And to many others. There’s no room in society for you, as far as I’m concerned.

What could they do but hvae their snipers target the elderly, children, and disabled? And they were being humane too! They were aiming specifically for the knees so rhat they wouldn’t be killed, but just completely disabled for the rest of their lives. Honestly confused as to why Israeli leadership wasn’t nominated for a Nobel peace price for that one.

If you read closely there’s a second line in the picture saying “just kidding, that’s in the US today”. No claim is made about the USSR under Stalin.
And when the world police no longer polices we get emboldened actions like bombing Iran for no good reason.
I think you have a mistaken idea of what the policing has looked like in the past 78 years. The US bombed Korea, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Indonesia, Guatemala, Afghanistan, Yemen, Somalia, Iraq, Iran, Syria, Lybia, and they’ve armed plenty of regimes doing the bombing for them (Saddam Hussein, for example). America has been destabilizing the globe for decades, and there is a lot of blood on their hands (on the order of 12 million, if we count direct casualties).
You think there was a good reason for invading Iraq?

People who don’t read history create reductive takes
For all their warts, the socialist nations did actually improve the economic standing of their workers compared to before socialism was introduced. Does the reduced homelessness, better education, and free health care warrant the authoritarian measures needed to deal with attacks from America (cf the cold war, the Pinochet coup, the wholesale economic blockade of Cuba, the bombing (20% of the population, dead) and economic blockade of North Korea, and so on)? I don’t know. But the idea that you have to get socialism juuuust right to enjoy its benefits is a false one. Cuba manages to achieve an average lifespan similar to (some years even higher than) America’s despite the blockade.
Thank you very much I like your comment too.
7 when the story happened, tells it 15 years later in 2020, so I’m supposed to believe this guy is 7 - 15 + 2025 - 2020 = -3 today. Something doesn’t check out about this story.
