You should mention to her that the amount of wealth loss by slavery, segregation, Jim Crow laws and systematic racism, have given white people an unfair advantage and doesnt allow black people to have a fair chance. We dont get equal opportunities and our starting point is way way way more back than yours.

How is your relationship going since then?
We live states away. I just try to keep it cordial on rare occasion we see each other, but it’s mostly not a problem due to distance.
