Right? After he got shot at, he went on some spiel about how the rhetoric needs to be reigned in because the democrats saying he’s a threat to democracy is inciting violence. As usual, whatever suits Trump in the moment is the way forward!

Barely a spiel. He put that “dangerous democrat rhetoric” crap between him lying to villainize Harris and lying to villainize migrants. He barely paused to breath switching back and forth from that completely disingenuous talking point.

When it’s done to bad people, sure. When done to him it obviously wasn’t a bad thing because it was rigged and unfair and all that, because obviously he couldn’t do any wrong.

(That’s a sarcastic rendering of what I believe to be his logic)

For being mean to him? He’s a kid throwing around words he heard but doesn’t understand. It means doing something bad to people, and that’s enough for him. More worrying is the second point - it might be enough for his cult too. I fear things are going to get ugly.

      Immigration

      Also noted in the article

A recent ABC News/Ipsos poll found that 70% viewed immigration at the southern border as an “important” issue for them, and Trump led Harris by 10 points on who voters thought was best suited to handle it

        Immigration

Which makes zero sense. What authority does anyone think she has in making any decisions about immigration policy? He’s the one that convinced his allies in congress to tank the border security bill that had bipartisan support, in order to intentionally create a “crisis”.

His campaign should continue highlight how much we were lied to about Biden’s mental health. It is hilarious to hear them beat that drum when they are not even running against Biden anymore and Trump is the only deranged old man running now.

He’s feeding the echo chamber with hopes it will drive his supporters to a voting frenzy. If he can’t get them to the polls, he will lose. His goal now is only to stir and agitate and excite his base.

All I hear in this instance is, “I’m still ultra butthurt about the impeachments!” Which explains GOP reps’ desperate and embarrassing “inquiries” into anything that oozes out of his mouth. They’re so unbelievably pathetic.
