California Gov. Gavin Newsom and state lawmakers will return to the state Capitol on Monday to begin a special session to protect the state's progressive policies ahead of another Trump presidency. The Democratic governor, a fierce critic of President-elect Donald Trump, is positioning California to once again be the center of a resistance effort against the conservative agenda.
Army doesn’t have that much in California. Fort Irwin is mainly a training base. When they base closures in the 80’s and 90’s California was hit really hard.
Just like Oregon doesn’t have much of an army presence. The only base I know of closed.
Most is the army is in the east coast and in the south.
