Going back to tiktok doesn’t change the fact that they’ve now decided not to be anti-china and that everything they previously knew about china was propaganda. Going forwards they will not swallow anti-china propaganda easily at all.
The damage is done. You can’t double or triple deprogram them. People sticking around in the longterm just means sucking more people in and deprogramming them too, that’s the reason they’d ban it, to stop it happening to even more people, but for those already involved in this the US has already lost.
