The one thing I’d change with that scene is to not even give red skull the snarky dialogue. If any dialogue exists have his ass beg for mercy and still get clapped.
Other than that, this is the perfect way to portray a fascist that the story needs to take seriously: as pure cannon fodder.

Mentioned it before, but I’d still be careful with writing nazis as still having snappy dialogue as they’re losing. CHUDs will see this and still see it as aspirational as even when they lose they get the final word in.
Fascists on 4chan unironically do see the world as theatre, and want to emulate the magnificent bastard trope as much as possible
Ironically, one of the examples the site gives of this trope is Kuvira from The Legend of Korra, I remember hearing that she is a stand-in for fascism.
