When a foreign president says you need to fire someone or else you won’t get money, doesn’t sound like sovereignty to me. Imagine if the US did that to Mexico, or Canada. That would be more insulting than the 51st state remark. The US was involved in Ukraine, we just don’t know the level of involvement exactly. Ukraine isn’t a democracy, nor is it liberal. Western Ukrainians hate Russians. This is like a replay of Ukrainians siding with the Nazis against the Russians. It was always a corrupt state.
