It’s all propped up by unthinkable amounts of capital which drops people’s consciousness in to one liberal bucket to craft a reality which makes them the most bigoted humans on earth. Incredible work

I think the right wing has that too, but they’re organized to work together for a common goal, whereas the western left has never been allowed that. It’s also said that fundamentalists all hate each other too…
This. Fucking nailed it. The left comes across as fighting between themselves over not left enough/too left, whereas the right comes across as united…doesn’t help that the right are also more vocal.
Call me naive, but it’s why I give liberals the benefit of the doubt. If the NAFO YIMBY and I both agree on protecting lgbt rights and some level of solutions for climate change, then I’m willing to work with them.
Of course we are going to have some serious talks, but the left is short on friends so I’m taking what I can get.
