    i always thought that it was especially cruel that it looks like water. Damn illusion could look like anything, but no, it just has to be water.

    I always wanted to see a mirage in person, then I realized recently I see them all the time on the highway when it’s a hot sunny day. It do be looking like water.

      Yeah I swear cartoons and maybe movies made mirages look like complex hallucinations to me as a kid. An actual mirage, like in the photo, is something I’ve also noticed ever since I started driving.

        I feel you, lol. To be fair, its likely that they do turn into complex hallucinations after a while. Those cartoon characters have typically spent too long in the desert sun and are dying of thirst.
