Original comic by Shen Comix
Description: A four panel comic. In the first panel the artist wakes up, extremely stressed, exclaiming “Oh my god, I am late for work!!” In the second panel the artist attempts to dress while also brushing the teeth. In the third panel the artist (fully dressed now) runs frantically. In the fourth panel the artist arrives at work, a building with the name “Drawing yuri at home in my sweatpants”.
For me, it was a bunch of fursona commissions, but the two weren’t mutually exclusive.
Its important work! The world needs more Yuri!
This pretty funny, but I’ve been self employed working from home for a part of my career and I would always stress out terribly if I overslept. I was always feeling my dedication and how much work I put in directly correlated to how much income I would have or if I could even continue with the work I put so much time and money into. It doesn’t matter if that job is in business, being a streamer or drawing comics, being self employed can be much more stressful than a regular job. So being late for work feels like you need to rush, even if it’s just in my pj’s with a robe and rolling my fat ass to the other room for work.
What kind of animal goes to bed wearing a watch?
Smartwatch users who like sleep tracking
sleep tracking through devices like Apple watches are basically a scam:

Eh my takeaway from that is “don’t obsess over it” and also the study is pretty old. There’s newer, better sensors like blood oxygen and better algorithms. Not up to medical device standards but surely better than a 2019 study.
Actually though I mostly wear mine because my SO and I wake up at different times and the watch allows for a silent alarm
Apple had to disable blood oxygen monitoring as a feature (lawsuit, stolen tech IIRC)
It’s not disabled on T he old watches. Just any new one for the time being.
My watch is Samsung so not sure if that applies
that’s a good idea, and also take it with a grain of salt - not the most accurate
Man, I wish I could
